We avoid vendor lock-in where practical, and any recurring service is defined in its contract.

Saphira Linux began inside AKADATA and now has a home of its own.
It is a source-built x86-64-v3 server Linux distribution using musl libc, OpenRC, nftables and a signed APK package repository. It is designed for people who want to run and control their own web, mail, DNS, VPN, database and AI-agent infrastructure rather than rent another collection of SaaS services.
Saphira remains an AKADATA project. Its releases, documentation, downloads and current development information are maintained on the dedicated Saphira Linux website.
