ZeroDNS

AKADATA LIMITED’s new UK-focused DNS and DDNS platform, built for learners, makers, families, small businesses, and people who want real control of their domain infrastructure.

What ZeroDNS is

ZeroDNS is a UK-restricted, UK-operated DNS and DDNS system being built from first principles by AKADATA LIMITED. It is designed for learners, makers, families, and small businesses who want real control of their domain infrastructure without handing everything to a faceless cloud panel.

Why AKADATA is building it

DNS is foundational, yet most people never get to own or understand it. ZeroDNS exists to change that, with ownership, delegation, learning, DNSSEC, and trusted automation at its centre.

What problem it solves

It solves the "DNS as a black box" problem. Built in clear layers — EB0 for young learners (14–17), EB1 for real DDNS with DNSSEC, and EB2 for delegated nameserver control — it gives users progressively more ownership of their names.

Current status

ZeroDNS is in pre-launch. The public service is not ready yet, and we are deliberately not saying too much too early. What can be said is simple: this is DNS infrastructure with ownership, delegation, learning, DNSSEC, and trusted automation at its centre.

Where to go next

When it is ready, ZeroDNS will show a different pattern for UK DNS — not ask the UK to follow the usual one. Until then, the DNS & Hosting service page describes the principles behind it.
